EnDECA DIrect mail

Client:

Endeca was a software corporation that specialized in enterprise and eCommerce search, along with other business intelligence applications. Their target audience was other corporations that needed enterprise-level information search and access capabilities. Endeca was acquired by Oracle Corporation.

Challenge:

Endeca was looking for a “first-touch” direct mail piece to introduce their leads to the product in order to follow up with a sales call. The challenge was to stand out in crowded (snail) mail inboxes of their targets.

Solution:

Most direct mail that these leads were receiving were uninteresting and visually forgettable. Knowing that the mailing list for this send was entirely male and a large percentage of them were golfers, the designer and I opted for a concept that would catch their attention with an image of an appealing off-hours activity and pair that with messaging about Endeca’s benefits to the organization.
